About Our Team

Nick Davenport

Director

Nick qualified as a solicitor after a period in law enforcement in one of the rougher areas of South London. During his training, he was delighted to be awarded two “best in the country” prizes in his law examinations.

After working initially for a busy South London firm, he moved to the Lakes with his teacher wife and three young children. Nick has worked in Ambleside for more than 33 years, firstly being employed by another local firm and then subsequently setting up his own firm and then taking over the long-established firm of Pattinson & Scott shortly afterwards.

He specialises in both residential and commercial property conveyancing and is especially experienced in the unusual titles prevalent in the Lake District. He also deals with Probate and Estates and the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney for clients.

Outside of work and family, his passions include enjoying the fells, cookery, jazz, and tinkering with his ancient Citroens. He regards Ambleside and its surrounding areas as the finest place to live in the country and has never regretted settling here.

Natalie Prickett

Local to Ambleside, Natalie joined the team in 2021 and is currently working towards becoming a qualified CLC Licenced Conveyancer. Prior to joining Davenport & Scott, Natalie worked as a Sales and Lettings Negotiator for Hackney and Leigh Estate Agents for 8 years. During this time, she gained considerable knowledge of Lake District property and the conveyancing process.

Away from the office, Natalie is a keen paddleboarder and wild swimmer and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is also a Director and the Chair Person of the Ambleside Christmas Lights Committee.
